"Mary Anna's Smocked Bonnet" features a
lace-edged
ruffle on the back edge of the smocking which encircles the baby's tiny
face without hiding it. The newborn size pattern is unique in
that
it actually fits a newborn baby and can be worn home from the
hospital.
The pattern features a growth tuck at the center back seam and an open
back casing so that the ribbon can be adjusted to add fullness as the
