Kimono Sleeve Daygowns

kim carrriage


A baby carriage with bullion roses has been centered on the front of this pink cashmere flannel daygown.
Tiny buttons have been used as the wheels.  The neckline, sleeves, and false hem
have all been embellished with pink whip stitch piping.

Yellow buttons and embroidery were used to make the baby rattles which center the front of this daygown.  The baby rattle was designed by Beth Bryson of Beth's Heirloom Sewing in Wetumpka, AL.  Yellow whip stitch piping completes the sleeve and neckline of this soft daygown made of white cashmere flannel.

Machine-embroidered walking yellow ducks were centered on this yellow cashmere flannel sacque.
Hand made tatting was added to the sleeves and neckline.

Shown here is a pique print trimmed with white slip stitch piping on the sleeve and neckline.

Blue cashmere flannel was chosen for this baby sacque
which is centered with a cute big, white machine-embroidered teddy bear.
A tiny Swiss edging was hand whipped to the neckline and sleeves.
